Harvest Volunteer

Harvest has begun at Kin Vineyards!

We will start by picking our Chardonnay grapes on September 26th and 27th, followed by our Pinot Noir the following week on October 3rd and 4th.

If you’ve ever wanted to help us pick grapes, here’s your chance!  To be fair, it is pretty demanding work, and you are in a farm environment so dress accordingly.  If you have your own pruning shears, gloves, boots, please bring them.  We have plenty of pruners to provide if you need them.

We will start at 8:30 in the morning with some training led by our winemaker Brian Hamilton and then head out to the vineyard at 9.  We anticipate picking for about 3 hours and will finish with a glass or two of our estate wine and pizza.  We would expect to have you back to your regular weekend affairs by 1:00pm.

We would sincerely appreciate 20 – 30 volunteers per day so, we’ve put this ticket system in place – you make your reservation here so we can ensure we are prepared to host you.

In our business, this is the most time-sensitive activity of the year, especially when mother nature puts pressure on us the way she has this year.
